Zimbabwe's former president Robert Mugabe cast his vote in the country’s presidential elections in Harare on Monday. The 94-year-old was accompanied to Mhofu primary school voting station by his wife Grace and daughter Bona. The trio was surrounded by cheering crowds and flanked by a heavy presence of security. More than 5 million people have reportedly taken part in the election. The vote is... Еще the first since Mugabe's removal from office in 2017. The presidential election is expected to be a tight race between Emmerson Mnangagwa, of the ruling Zimbabwe African National Union — Patriotic Front (ZANU-PF), and Nelson Chamisa, of the opposition Movement For Democratic Change (MDC) Alliance. Parliamentary elections are also taking place on Monday.
