Zimbabwe: Drone footage captures mass anti-Mugabe protest in Harare

A drone captured aerial footage of a mass protest decrying Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe on Josiah Tongogara Street, in central Harare on Saturday. The protest comes amid recent developments that have seen the army take control of government institutions in a coup like manner, despite the army's refusal to call it as such. All 10 Zanu-PF branches (the President's political party) have passed... Еще motions of no confidence in the President. Protesters carried banners denoting their support for the army, as they called for the incumbent president to stand down from office. Zimbabwe's military seized control of state TV, announcing it had taken temporary control of the country in order to «target criminals» allegedly operating around the head of state earlier this week. Part of the takeover had included the house arrest of the 93-year-old, but on Friday morning the army issued a statement describing «significant progress» as Mugabe was seen in public, attending a university graduation ceremony.
