Columns of smoke rose over Sanaa on Tuesday as the Saudi-led coalition launched airstrikes on Yemen's largest city, currently in the hands of Houthi forces.
The attacks reportedly targeted weapon depots, drones, ballistic missile launchers and other strategic locations inside the city.
Meanwhile, the Saudi-led coalition reportedly intercepted a ballistic missile fired from Houthi-held territory towards Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, which comes after reports of the coalition intercepting several drones the night before.
On Monday, at least 13 civilians, including four children, died after a Saudi-led coalition airstrike hit a vehicle in Shada in northern Yemen.
Violence in Yemen resumed after a six-week truce introduced due to the coronavirus pandemic expired last month.
