Yemen: Restaurants reopen as Houthis relax coronavirus restrictions in Sana’a

Sana'a residents were seen dining out in a restaurant on Wednesday, after COVID-19 restrictions were lifted in Yemen's Houthi-controlled cities. The Houthis reportedly announced the easing of measures on Monday, which allowed for the reopening of restaurants, banquet halls, public baths, parks and playgrounds. Social distancing and the use of masks in public spaces have been maintained to help combat the spread of coronavirus. According to reports the Houthi forces have registered only four cases of coronavirus, but aid workers and the UN say the outbreak is much worse than what the authorities are reporting.
