Yemen: Hudaida fishermen recount «massive» suffering at hands of Saudi-led coalition

Yemeni fishermen recounted their “massive suffering” as a consequence of the Saudi-led coalition's blockade of Hudaida port, on Wednesday. The coalition is “restraining us and confiscating what we fish for seven months, a year or two,» said a Hudaida fisherman. Head of a local fishermen's committee stated that “142 fishermen have been targeted and almost 184 boats have been destroyed, in... Еще addition to 30 to 40 boats being confiscated by the coalition” and that “fishermen have been facing killing, the destruction of their boats, and arrests.» The Saudi-led coalition has said it would leave Hudaida under blockade until the UN sets up a tighter system to control any flow of armaments through the port.
