Yemen: Cholera outbreak now «worst in history»

The cholera outbreak in Yemen is now the largest epidemic since records began, according to British charity Oxfam. The number of suspected cases hit 755,000 on Thursday — more than the total 754,373 cases recorded in the aftermath of Haiti’s 2010 earthquake. Experts believe it will hit a million by November. The Al-Sabeen Maternity and Child Hospital in the capital, Sana'a, has seen an... Еще unprecedented rise in the number of cases. Yemen's cholera crisis started in March and is a result of the civil war that has been raging in the region since March 2015.
