World’s tallest Christmas tree from BOTTLE CRATES set up in Gera

The world's tallest Christmas tree made of bottle crates was undergoing its finishing tweaks as the Christmas lights were being fixed to it in Gera on Thursday. It took a total of 2728 crates to build the Christmas tree, which reached a height of 17,8 metres (58,4 feet) upon completion, managing to beat the record Christmas tree from 2015, which was built from over 1200 beverage crates and had... Еще an approximate height of 12 metres (39,3 feet). The Christmas tree was built as a collaboration between the charity organization We4kids, Selgros Cash & Carr, Association Wustenhainer Offroad Crew and others, with the aim of breaking a previous world record, and raising awareness for children from poor families.
