World's largest ice festival wows tourists as illuminations light up Harbin sky

The 33rd Sculpture Festival, the largest and most dazzling Ice festival in the world, lit up the night sky in the northeastern Chinese city of Harbin, Friday. The opening ceremony of the festival saw several thousands of people coming to see the fireworks in the background of the ice sculptures that opened for the public for the first time on this day. The Harbin Ice and Snow World were... Еще founded in 1999 to celebrate the new millennium. By expanding the characteristics of Harbin's winter climate and the city's status in northeast China, it attracts hundreds of artists for the design and sculpture of ice or snow artwork.
