What a bot this? South Korea robot takes part in 2019 Winter Olympic Games torch relay

Hubo the humanoid robot took part in the 2019 Winter Olympic Games torch relay in the South Korean city of Daejon on Monday. Hubo is 1.2 metres (4 feet) tall and can walk at 65 paces per minute, as part of the relay ceremony Hubo cut through a brick wall before passing the flam on to Dr Oh Jun Ho. South Korea has announced plans to employ a fleet of 85 robots ‘volunteers’ in the Winter... Еще Olympics. Eleven different types of robots are set to be used for various tasks during the games, including helping tourists make deliveries, painting murals and taking part in the torch rally. As well as South Korea, neighbours Japan are hoping to have built and entire robot village ready to assist people in time for the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympic games.
