Da Nang's touristic promenade appeared heavily damaged, yet peaceful on Sunday. The region suffered severe damage from Typhoon Vamco and is still recovering from a storm-heavy season.
Vamco was the twenty-second storm to be named as well as being the tenth typhoon of the 2020 Pacific typhoon season.
Roads were deserted due to the high seas, as workers began the many cleaning tasks necessary including moving all the debris scattered around by the strong tides and wind that battered the city.
Loose paving stones surrounding broken pavements and moored boats filled the area, as workers used diggers to remove the mud from flooded roads nearby.
Vamco has made landfall as a Category-1 typhoon, although it's been forecasted that over the next 12 hours the low pressure area will continue to move it a north-westerly direction and it will gradually dissolve.
