Vietnam: Duterte thanks Putin for weapons aid

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin for the arms aid in combatting militants loyal to the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIS/ISIL) in Marawi, as the two leaders held a bilateral meeting in Da Nang, Friday.
