Еще PoliceSCRIPTClashes broke out between protesters and security forces in Caracas, Wednesday, during the first of day of a national strike, called by the Venezuelan political opposition.The mobilisation was called by Deputy Simon Calzadilla of the Democratic Unity Roundtable, to protest against the government of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.Opposition groups have been holding protests, often with violent clashes ensuing, for several months, demanding early general elections, opposing Maduro’s constituent assembly plans and demonstrating against the economic crisis in Venezuela.
