Venezuela's National Constituent Assembly President Delcy Rodriguez announced plans to remove Brazilian ambassador Ruy Pereira and Canada's charge d'affaires Craig Kowalik from their posts during a press conference in Caracas on Saturday. The measure will be effective “until the constitutional link that the ‘de facto’ government violated is restored,” explained Rodriguez. Pereira and Kowalik... Еще have been critical of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro for apparently attempting to consolidate his party’s rule and force the opposition out of the picture. Rodriguez also claims the Canadian has tweeted «rude and vulgar» comments about Venezuela in the past. US envoy Todd Robinson also recently criticised Maduro for introducing a measure which will, in effect, exclude several opposition parties from competing in next year’s elections.
