Members of the Bolivarian National Militia commemorated the seventh anniversary of the death of former Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, in Caracas on Thursday.
The militiamen marched at dawn from the Mountain Barracks for several kilometers, chanting slogans and waving flags, towards Ezequiel Zamora square, next to Miraflores Palace.
Once in the square there was an act of homage in which... Еще Christian Medina, a former assistant of Chavez, participated, saying from the stage that “when we talk about militias we talk about Chavez. And when we say 'Long live the militia!' We are saying 'Long live Chavez!' Seven years later we stand on our feet.”
This Thursday, March 5, marks seven years since the death of Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias, who served as president of Venezuela between 1999 and 2013.
