President of Venezuela's National Constituent Assembly (ANC) Delcy Rodriguez commented on country's opposition-led National Assembly (NA), in Caracas, Friday. Rodriguez criticised the opposition politicians, many of whom are from the Democratic Unity Roundtable (MUD), who did not attend the NA's session, saying that «empty chair that ratifies a position of ignorance of the decision of the... Еще people of Venezuela, that on July 30, as it was public and notorious for the whole world.» Her comments come after the ANC assumed some of the NA's powers by decree, despite this the ANC president said «The Constituent Assembly is obliging them to coexist with the original constituent power, but they have to work, adhering to the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.» The ANC's new remit will give it the power to pass new laws.
