Vintage WWII warbirds graced Houston's sky on Sunday as the Texan city commemorated the 75th anniversary of victory in Europe (VE Day) and end of the second world war.
B-25 «Devil Dog,» the T-6 Texan, and SB2C Helldiver were among 30 antique fighter planes which flew almost 200 kilometres over Houston's greater area.
«I love to see these antique planes fly. My father flew B-17 and B-24 in WWII... Еще and I work for an airline so I just love airplanes and what better way to spend a beautiful day in Houston,» said Kelly who was there to watch the spectacle.
The Fight to the Finish flyover had been originally planned for May 8 but was re-scheduled due to stormy weather.
