USA: World's 'first and only' OJ Simpson museum opens — LA curator

The world's first museum dedicated to baseball player O.J. Simpson opened its doors to press in Los Angeles, Thursday 17. Simpson became worldwide known following a live-broadcasted police chase in the streets of LA after allegedly murdering his wife and her alleged lover. Simpson was judged and declared not guilty of the crime. Around 300 items of fan memorabilia where on display including... Еще merchandise t-shirts sold at the time of the trial, games inspired on Simpson, books, paintings, posters and watches among others. The curator of the museum, Adam Papagan, explained that the exhibition intends to capture «the phenomenon surrounding O.J. Simpson, the fan culture» and not the trial itself. Simpson was later on incarcerated for arm robbery and kidnapping and is set to be released as early as October after being granted parole following nine years of serving. The pop up exhibition is set to kick off on Friday 18 for general public until Tuesday 22.
