USA: White House blames Obama administration for 'Russian meddling'

The president is looking at all of the different causes and all of the different ways that we can prevent it, and as we find different ways that we can do that we're implementing them.» *MULTIPLE SHOTS AT SOURCE* The White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders blamed the Obama administration for allowing alleged Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election to happen on his watch, at a press conference in Washington DC on Tuesday. «Let's not forget that this happened under [former US president Barack] Obama didn't happen under President [Donald] Trump. If you want to blame somebody on past problems then you need to look at the Obama administration,» Huckabee Sanders told the media room. The press secretary also said: «The president still supports raising the age limit to 21 for the purchase of certain firearms.» This comes despite opposition from the National Rifle Association (NRA), who believe people aged 18 to 20 should not have their constitutional right to buy a gun infringed upon.
