USA: 'We must overcome the blame game' — US and Mexico agree to combat drug epidemic

US Attorney General Jeff Session and other top US officials held a joint press conference with their Mexican counterparts on cooperation in order to combat 'the unprecedented drug crisis' in the US, in Washington DC on Thursday. Luis Videgaray, Foreign Secretary of Mexico stressed that the countries «must overcome the blame game that we have both assigned mutually where Mexico traditionally... Sullivan made his comments on current situation with opioid addicts in the US saying that, «The President (US President Donald Trump) has instructed agencies across the US government and even the American people themselves to do their part in curbing this tragic epidemic of addiction that continues to claim the lives of so many.» «President Trump has declared that we face a national emergency and this government will not accept these trends and we are determined to reduce these trends,» Sessions said, adding that the country is facing an 'unprecedented drug crisis.’
