USA: Warren takes aim at Biden ahead of ‘Super Tuesday’

Massachusetts Senator and Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren went after election rival and former Vice President Joe Biden during a rally in Los Angeles on Monday, during her final campaign stop ahead of 'Super Tuesday' primary elections. Warren delivered her speech at East Los Angeles College in front of a Latino-heavy crowd, who make up about 40 percent of California's... Еще population and are thus a key voting demographic for the Democratic presidential candidates. A group of protesters also crashed the rally, bearing placards reading 'let dairy die.' Warren, who is currently hovering between third and fourth place in the polls, faces an uphill battle to capture votes as fellow Democrats Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden strengthen their respective leads. Earlier on Monday, former candidates Amy Klobuchar and Pete Buttigieg swiftly endorsed Biden after dropping out of the race, handing the former vice president a big boost before Tuesday's vote. On March 3, California and 13 other states, including populous Texas, will be voting to select the Democratic nominee to take on Donald Trump for the presidency. Traditionally, the results of 'Super Tuesday' tend to decide the most likely contender for the nomination.
