Hard-core fans of cult show Twin Peaks are now able to lay their hands on a good old memorabilia from David Lynch’s spooky 90’s TV series as Twin Peak's character Laura Palmer’s very own coffin is being auctioned in the Prop Store headquarters in the Californian city of Valencia, footage from Thursday showed. Hand-painted in a deep red and adorned with gold painted floral and scrollwork details... Еще, the casket was featured in the third episode of the much-loved masterpiece, where Laura Palmer’s lifeless body was placed for a final farewell. Her gruesome murder had propelled the show’s story into motion in the first episode. «You can use it as a coffee table, you can use it as your own casket if you want to put your head down where Laura Palmer’s was,» said Prop Store Vice President Chuck Costas who speculated the piece to bring in $2,000 — $3,000 (€1750 — €2600). Part of the 'TV Treasures' live auction on December 1, the prop will go under the hammer along with TV’s other memorable items such as Star Trek costumes, fake blue meth from Showtime’s Breaking Bad, and X Files TV production sets.
