USA: Tsunami warning sirens blare after 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Alaska

A tsunami warning siren resonated through Homer, Alaska, on Tuesday night, as seen in footage shot by a local resident. The siren was followed by a loud message urging people that a tsunami warning was issued for the area and inviting people to listen to the radio for more details. The tsunami warning was sent out after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake occurred 99 kilometres (61 miles) outside Perryville, Alaska, with alarms ringing in 10 Alaskan towns over the course of two hours.
