USA: Trump wants people 'stay' on coronavirus-stricken ship fearing 'numbers' might 'go up'

US President, Donald Trump said that he would rather have people stay on the coronavirus-hit cruise ship Grand Princess that is currently off the coast of California, speaking at the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Friday. «I would be inclined to say, «Leave everybody on the ship for a period of time, and use the ship as your base, adding: when they do that, our numbers are... Еще going to go up. Okay? Our numbers are going to go up. The 240 is going to go up,» said Trump. «Do I want to bring all those people on? People would like me to do that. I don't like the idea of doing it,» — he concluded. Trump also assured that the amount of tests is enough to test anyone who wants for having the coronavirus. «They have the tests. And the tests are beautiful. Anybody that needs a test gets a test,» he stressed. The 951-foot Grand Princess which was on its way back to California from Hawaii with reportedly almost 3,500 people on board, is now staying off the coast of California after at least 21 people onboard were tested positive for the coronavirus.
