US President Donald Trump praised his foreign policy efforts and the normalisation of relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain while speaking at a rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin on Thursday.
«I recognised Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights and we achieved the first breakthrough in the Middle East peace and you saw that two days ago. UAE, Bahrain, Israel, nobody thought it was even possible, I saw John Kerry on television the other day, 'it is not possible!' we waited a little while, he wen't very, very strong, 'it is not possible.' And it was not only possible, we have many countries that are joining us very soon,» Trump said.
The US president went on to praise US efforts against ISIS and the killing of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani.
Trump also reiterated calls to have the death penalty for those who kill police officers.
«As president I will always support the heroes of law enforcement and I will fight to ensure the criminals who murder police officers do indeed get the death penalty,» he said.
