US President Donald Trump revoked the security clearance of former CIA Director John Brennan on Wednesday. Trump's decision was announced by White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders at a press briefing in Washington D.C.
Sanders read Trump's statement, where he blamed Brennan for using his access to classified information to «sow division and chaos» about the Trump administration.

Sanders said that the White House will also consider revoking security clearances of other former high-ranking intelligence officials, including former FBI Director James Comey, former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, former Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James Clapper, former National Security Advisor Susan Rice.
