USA: Trump pushes congress to pass US-Mexico-Canada trade deal

US President Trump pressed Congress to pass the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) trade deal during a press conference in Milwaukee on Friday. The President called the USCMA «the best replacement» for the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) that members of congress could «ever even imagine». The deal faces opposition from House Democrats who are advocating for tougher labour... Еще and environmental provisions. «I'm calling on Congress to pass USMCA and send it to my desk immediately for signature. We shouldn't be playing around and every day that goes by it gets more and more political, because we get closer and closer to the election,» he said. The trade agreement was ratified by Mexico last month.
