US President Donald Trump threatened to stop sending aid to countries that planned to vote in favour of a United Nations resolution against the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital when he spoke from Washington DC on Wednesday. “They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars and then they vote against us. Well, we’re watching those votes. Let them vote against us... Еще, we’ll save a lot. We don’t care,” said Trump. Trump’s remarks were made ahead of an upcoming United Nations General Assembly vote on a resolution that would reject the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. On Monday the US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley vetoed a similar Security Council resolution, despite the 14 other members voting in favour of it.
