In a cabinet meeting on Monday, US President Donald Trump confirmed plans Washington was cutting its troops in Germany.
«So we're protecting Germany. They're delinquent. That doesn't make sense. So I said we're going to bring down the soldier count to 25,000 soldiers,» said Trump who also added Berlin owed billions to NATO.
Nine-thousand-five-hundred soldiers will be pulled from US bases in Germany.
Trump also touched upon other issues including his upcoming rally in Tulsa and his stance on a tell-all book set to be published by his third national security adviser John Bolton.
«I will consider every conversation with me as president highly classified. So that would mean that if he wrote a book and if the book gets out, he's broken the law. And I would think that he would have criminal problems,» Trump warned.
