USA: Trump confirms Guantanamo Bay will stay open

During his first State of the Union address to Congress, US President Donald Trump confirmed that he signed an order to «to keep open the detention facilities at Guantanamo Bay,» Tuesday. He also praised the US-led coalition fight against the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL), claiming that «the coalition to defeat ISIS has liberated very close to 100 percent of the... Еще territory just recently held by these killers in Iraq and Syria and in other locations as well». Commenting on the Iranian nuclear deal, Trump called on the US Congress «to address the fundamental flaws» in it, branding the deal «terrible.» Trump claimed that the US is also «waging a campaign of maximum pressure» on the North Korean regime, stressing that «no regime has oppressed its own citizens more totally or brutally.»
