Thousands of people took part in a 'Blue Lives Matter' protest in New York City on Saturday.
People held flags resembling the US ones, coloured in blue, holding banners supporting the New York Police Department.
«We have over 10,000 people for 'Blue Lives Matter' in a matter of minutes. We are not prejudiced; we are not biased. This is a free country, you're entitled to live here and create freedom of speech,» Karen Fillington, a leader of 'Blue Lives Matter' said.
People gathered in Eisenhower Park, with speakers, including a former NYPD employee addressing the crowd.
