A huge wildfire continued to tear through Ventura, in southern California on Tuesday evening. Fire fighters reported that the blaze is still out of control and that at least 27,000 people have been evacuated. The fire broke out on Monday evening and spread quickly due to 50 mile per hour (80 km/h) winds. Over a thousand firefighters have been deployed to tackle the flames, which they say has... Еще ripped across 50,000 acres. California's Governor Jerry Brown has since declared a state of emergency. Thousands of people have been displaced since Tuesday, with hundreds of houses having been destroyed. Firefighters stated that the fire is currently zero percent contained. One person was initially reported as having been killed in a car accident as they attempted to flee the fire, however the Ventura County Fire Captain Steve Kaufmann has since stated that no body was discovered in the car.
