Two journalists were killed as subtropical storm Alberto made landfall near Panama City Beach in Florida, Monday, shortly before the storm was downgraded to a subtropical depression. Two journalists from South Carolina were killed when high winds caused a tree to fall on their vehicle, while thousands of people were evacuated from Florida and the Gulf of Mexico coast.
