USA: State of emergency declared as wildfires tear through Northern California

Californian authorities have declared a state of emergency after wildfires engulfed more than 17,806 hectares (44,000 acres), by Monday. Footage shows smoke billowing near Fullerton as the fire spread along the Anaheim Hills. According to officials, some 20,000 people have been evacuated from eight counties. No fatalities have been reported.
