USA: SpaceX launches re-used rocket and spacecraft for first time

SpaceX launched into Space an already used spacecraft atop a used rocket for the first time ever, as shown on video released by NASA on Friday. The Falcon 9 rocket, carrying a Dragon spacecraft, took off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Base in Florida at 10:36 am ET. As SpaceX reported on its Twitter account, the Dragon spacecraft managed to enter Orbit while the Falcon 9 rocket successfully... Еще returned to Earth. The launch was part of SpaceX’s partnership with NASA to deliver supplies and research material to the International Space Station (ISS). According to the plans, the Dragon spacecraft is expected to dock with the ISS in the near future. The launch was deemed to represent a breakthrough in the history of space travel, due to it being the first time SpaceX could re-fly some of its previously used hardware. This could allow Elon Musk’s company to decrease the price of a single launch.
