As wildfires continue to rage across the West Coast, residents in Stayton, Oregon, have witnessed the sky change from nearly apocalyptic orange to a foggy white on Wednesday
A local elementary school in Mill City could be seen burnt down, as well as vehicles and other building gutted by fires.
Meanwhile, the parking lot of the Clackamas Town Center was turned into an evacuation site with tents and emergency service workers assisting locals.
To-date, more than a million acres have been ablaze in the state of Oregon, forcing tens of thousands to evacuate.
More than 30 people people are believed to have died in the fires, while dozens are missing as the crisis continues.
Fires have also ravaged through the states of California and Washington this summer, causing record damage amid the ongoing global COVID-19 health crisis.
