USA: Secrets of the Cold War revealed in new collection

From spy toys to archives of Checkpoint Charlie border guards, the Wende Museum of the Cold War opened its new collection in Los Angeles on Sunday. Some 100,000 Cold War artefacts from 1945 to 1991 were put on display to the public in Culver City. The museum's Chief Curator Joes Segal said: «Intriguing connections, I would say between Russia and the United States in many ways. I think our... Еще collection has newer relevance and also gives the visitors an opportunity to broaden their perspective, to broaden their horizon and to better understand what's going on.» This museum is the largest one dedicated to the Cold War history in the United States.
