USA: Sanders defends Trump tweets on ending Mueller probe 'Opinion' not 'order'

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, White House Press Secretary: «It's not an order, it's the president's opinion and it's ridiculous that all of the corruption and dishonesty that's gone on with the launching of the witch hunt, the president wants, has watched this process play out. But he also wants to see it come to an end, as he stated many times and we look forward to that happening.» *MULTIPLE SHOTS AT... Еще SOURCE* White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said US President Donald Trump's tweet asking Attorney General Jeff Sessions to terminate Bob Mueller's Russia investigations, was «not an order» but merely «the president's opinion» during a press conference in Washington D.C. on Wednesday. «He wants to see it come to an end, as he stated many times and we look forward to that happening,» added Sanders. Sanders also dismissed criticism, mainly voiced by Democrats, that Trump's tweet could be regarded as an obstruction of justice saying, «The president is not obstructing, he's fighting back.» The comments came after Trump's tweets this morning, where he demanded Russia's investigations be terminated: «This is a terrible situation and Attorney General Jeff Sessions should stop this Rigged Witch Hunt right now, before it continues to stain our country any further. Bob Mueller is totally conflicted, and his 17 Angry Democrats that are doing his dirty work are a disgrace to USA!»
