White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said US President Donald Trump still wanted to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin at a press conference in Washington D.C. on Friday, despite fresh sanctions imposed on oligarchs, government officials and Russian companies. «The president is going continue to be tough until we see that change take place and we are going to continue... Еще working forward and what we can to have that meeting and have a meeting with [Russian President] Vladimir Putin at some point,» Sanders told a packed press briefing room. The press secretary also confirmed the Trump administration's intention to send the National Guard to the southwestern border with Mexico, as he ramps up his rhetoric on immigration and transnational crime syndicates.
