A march organised by 'Refuse Fascism' saw hundreds turn out in San Francisco to protest US President Donald Trump. The protesters demanded an end to Trump's administration, holding up banners calling for his resignation. Some protesters also carried signs in Spanish, reading, «The regime of Trump and Pence. You have to go!» Barry Thornton, one of the campaigners from 'Refuse Fascism... Еще', explained their intention with the demonstration, «We needed millions of people on the streets to drive them out and that's been our mission. And what we're launching today is the beginning of that process, of mobilising those millions.» Similar protests were held in other major cities across the USA, on the same day, in a nationwide move for activists to demonstrate their opposition to the current US administration.
