USA: Protest against removal of Jefferson Davis monument in New Orleans

A handful of people gathered in New Orleans, on Saturday, to protest the recent removal of a monument to Jefferson Davis, who was President of the Confederate States of America between 1861 and 1865. During the demonstration, some protesters were seen shouting at police officers who were observing the rally. One claimed he saw the police spitting at people saluting the US flag.
