USA: Pompeo says deal reached on mutual border closures with Mexico

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that Washington reached a deal with Mexico to impose new travel restrictions to curb the spread of the coronavirus. The Secretary of State also blamed China, Russia and Iran of spreading misinformation about the US government's handling of the pandemic. «We want to make sure is that the American people go to trusted sources for their information but we made clear we have spoken to these countries directly that they need to knock it off we don't approve of it and there are handful other things we are engaged in to make sure that the right information is out there and that the accurate information is given,» said Pompeo. The US President Donald Trump announced that all federal student loans will be temporarily put on hold at least for the next 60 days. According to Johns Hopkins University, the US has reported over 5,000 cases of coronavirus in 24 hours bringing the total number to 16,018 and 210 deaths.
