USA: Pence says school safety 'top priority' at CPAC conference

US Vice-President Mike Pence vouched that «no child, no teacher, should ever be in danger in an American school,» speaking at the 'Conservative Political Action Conference' 2018 in National Harbor, Maryland. «We'll make the safety of our nations schools and our students our top national priority,» the VP said. Pence urged «all of us in positions of authority» to «find a way to come together... Еще with American solutions to confront and end this evil in our time.» 17 students and teachers were killed in last week's school shooting in Parkland, Florida, sparking fresh debate over gun control legislation. He also went on to say that the promised wall along the country's southern border would be built and that the US would not stand with 'murderous dictators' in reference to North Korea.
