USA: NYC's St. Patrick's Cathedral reopens for first public Mass since March

New York City's St. Patrick's Cathedral reopened to the public on Sunday, as it celebrated its first in-person Mass since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak in March. The cathedral limited attendance to a quarter of the usual capacity, with worshippers required to wear masks and observe social distancing rules. The Catholic institution has been welcoming visitors who wish to only to pray since June 1. «We are very excited, we have been watching mass on tv every Sunday and it's wonderful to finally come physically,” said Mary Swanson, a local resident.
