Dozens of people rallied outside the federal building in Los Angeles in solidarity with Iranian anti-government protesters on Sunday.
One of the protest organisers criticised what she described as 'limited coverage' of protests in Iran by the media while another demonstrator said: «We have 200 people, who've been essentially slaughtered in Iran, and we don't get the press coverage that we need... Еще.»
Nationwide protests erupted in Iran on November 15 after the government announced that fuel prices will rise by at least 50 percent. More than a hundred people are believed to have been killed in the unrest, a figure which has been refuted by the government.
Tehran said that some 100 leaders of protests and 1,000 demonstrators were arrested.
