USA: Native tribe members welcome Russian Ambassador at Fort Ross

The Russian Ambassador to the US Anatolii Antonov and members of the Embassy delegation visited Fort Ross State Park in California, the historic landmark that was built by Russian explorers. The settlement was established over 200 years ago, built on land that belongs to the Native Tribe of Kashaya Pomo. During his tour, the ambassador shared his impressions of his four-day long visit to California and commented on the consulate that was closed in the state at the order of the US government. «I hope a day will come, and I don't know how long it will take, but we will reinstate our consulate presence in San Francisco,» said Antonov.
