USA: MVP Mahomes and Kansas City Chiefs celebrate Super Bowl win in style

Thousands of Kansas City Chiefs fans descended on downtown on Wednesday to celebrate their side's Super Bowl victory with an open top bus parade, despite bitter winter temperatures. MVP Patrick Mahomes was joined by his teammates and coach as they gave a speech on stage to the huge crowds, which included children who had been given the day off school especially. «I think the curse is over, in my... Еще opinion, since we won. I think we'll win three more, we'll see,» said local fan Charles Penn, famously dubbed Bad Luck Chuck. Penn, a 31 year old fan went viral last Sunday after tweeting a video of him leaving the stadium with the Chiefs trailing in the first quarter. Having only seen the Chiefs lose games he attended, Penn was convinced he was bringing his favorite team bad luck and therefore needed to leave the stadium to help them — which he ultimately did. During the celebrations, Chief's player Frank Clark was spotted wearing a tribute jersey with the number 58 and the name 'Thomas' written on it. Derrick Thomas, a former linebacker who played for the Kansas City Chiefs tragically passed away in February 2000 at the age of 33 following health complications resulting from a car accident.
