The first day of American Comedian Bill Cosby’s retrial over sexual assault allegations concluded at Montgomery County Court in Pennsylvania on Monday. The first day of the trial was mostly dedicated to resolving the jurors’ issue. Cosby’s defence filed a last-minute motion to remove juror number 11 on allegations of bias. Judge Steven O’Neill however ruled that the juror can stay on the panel, after which the trial began with opening statements. The judge ordered to dismiss the jury panel after Cosby’s attorney Tom Mesereau asked to give his opening statement tomorrow instead.
