Michael Wolff's 'Siege: Trump Under Fire' hit bookstores across the US on Tuesday, giving readers the chance to re-engage with the author's ongoing expose of the Trump presidency.
The book, seen on sale at Politics and Prose in Washington DC, follows on from Wolff's 2018 tell-all bestseller 'Fire and Fury.'
“I think people are definitely more eager to get the latest political titles in their... Еще hands maybe than they were before,» said Sarah Costello, deputy director of marketing at the DC bookstore. «We had a few people stop by and get it, we have had a few advance orders of people who know they want to read it and pick it up as soon as it's here,» she added.
'Siege: Trump Under Fire' picks up where 'Fire and Fury' left off after the first year of Trump's presidency, and ends following the publication of the Mueller Report. The author's first book on the Trump presidency is reported to have sold some four million copies.
