USA: Local residents feel ripple effects of Sutherland Springs church shooting

Local residents commented the attack on the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs on Monday. One resident, Karen Barnes, defended the Second Amendment, saying «in a situation like this it could have prevented a lot more devastation.» Another resident, David Casillas, said he was horrified by the incident as he had moved to Sutherland Springs from Houston after his son was killed in a... Еще shooting. An elder resident, Margaret Shummer, added, «it's the hugs, the tears, the care and the love is going to get us through, in a small community, this is a one big family.» Authorities have reported that the gunman, 26-year old Devin Kelley, was found dead after escaping in his car, although it is unknown whether he killed himself or died from a gunshot fired by a local resident. The motive behind the attack has not yet been reported.
