USA: Las Vegas holds candlelit vigil for massacre victims

Around 100 people staged a candlelit vigil at the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip, Monday evening, to pay their respects to the victims of the deadly gun attack that took place the previous day. According to the police, the death toll of the massacre has risen to 59, with a further 527 injured. The gunman, identified by Las Vegas police as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, opened fire on a... Paddock killed himself before SWAT teams forced their way into his room with the use of explosives, whereupon they discovered 23 weapons according to local police. With a total of 59 people having been killed, and hundreds of people having been hospitalised, the attack is already considered the worst mass shooting in US history.
